Each article carries an editorial publication date for the reading archive. Articles may be revised when reference material changes. Always check current conditions and requirements before acting on practical guidance.

Evidence before confidence

We distinguish original planning exercises, general guidance and sourced factual statements. Links let readers inspect the reference material. We avoid invented firsthand experience, fake biographies, unverified qualifications and unsupported performance claims.

Water, species and local rules differ

Check current licences, access, closures, permitted tackle and fish-handling requirements with the relevant local authority. Fishing guides are general educational material, not reports of current conditions at a particular water. Photographs illustrate the subject and do not document trips undertaken by our editorial project.
